About the role

Due to a large increase of additional machinery into our rapidly expanding fleet, an opportunity is available for qualified diesel (or light vehicle) mechanics to join our dynamic team in our Gisborne Port location.

These are permanent full time positions offering a Monday to Friday 07:30 - 16:30 work week with the requirement to work extra hours and shifts when required.  

Based out of a fully equipped workshop, with all tools provided, this is an exciting and challenging role which will include diagnosing, servicing and repairing a variety of heavy machinery and equipment such as loaders, excavators, material handlers, trucks, trailers and mobile harbour cranes.

Ideally candidates will have the following:

  • Heavy Equipment Qualification– Trade Certified
  • Experienced and familiar with Hydraulic systems
  • Proven history of working on Heavy machinery
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a small team environment
  • Excellent attitude
  • Physically fit

Consideration will be given to qualified light vehicle mechanics looking to upgrade their qualifications – full training will be provided.
